Diana McIver
Diana McIver has been involved in the real estate industry, specializing in affordable housing, for 40 years.
She founded DMA Development Company, LLC, DMA Properties, LLC, as well as precursors Diana McIver & Associates, Inc. and Conroy & McIver. She serves as the General Partner in more than 35 housing partnerships, totaling more than 3500 apartments, and has assisted smaller organizations with capacity building.
Diana will tell you that, aside from her degree in Sociology, she has the most logical career path ever – having spearheaded legislative changes to housing programs as staff of the Senate Special Committee on Aging, trained housing professionals across the country in how to develop and manage affordable housing through the many HUD programs as staff at the National Center for Housing Management, and then branching out on her own in 1980.
Her notable accomplishments include:

- Recipient of the Jean MacDonald Lifetime Achievement Award in 2013 by the Texas Affiliation of Affordable Housing Providers (TAAHP)
- Recipient of the 2012 Community Vision Award from the Austin Chapter, American Institute of Architects
- Congressional Appointment in 2001 to the 14-member Commission on Affordable Housing and Health Care Facility Needs for Seniors in the 21st Century
Diana is on the Executive Committee of the Housing Advisory Group and is Board Treasurer for HousingWorks Austin. She is Past President of TAAHP and currently serves as co-chair of its Federal Legislative Advisory Group. She served on the TALHFA Board from 2010 to 2023. Diana also holds a Texas Real Estate Brokers License.

JoEllen Smith
Since joining the DMA Companies in March 1998, JoEllen has served in numerous capacities, giving her the necessary overall perspective to lead DMA’s operations. She has served in an officer capacity since 2002 and as Executive Vice President since 2008.
Her leadership role within DMA Companies is very diverse and has ranged from providing oversight for daily operations to serving as the Principal in Charge for Development Production overseeing loan processing, construction, and transition to operations for DMA’s developments funded through the Housing Tax Credit program. In 2023, she assumed the leadership role for DMA’s property management company, DMA Properties, LLC. Additionally, she is actively engaged in the business development and marketing activities for both DMA’s development and property management companies.
JoEllen serves on the Scholarship Committee for the Texas Affiliation of Affordable Housing Providers and also administers DMA’s Camilie Pahwa Scholarship program. Coming to Austin via Southern California and upstate New York, JoEllen received a BA in Political Science from California State University, Long Beach, and also a Certificate of Gerontology.

Janine Sisak
Janine has twenty-five years of experience in the development, ownership and management of affordable housing. Janine originates, structures, and executes projects funded through the Housing Tax Credit program, as well as a variety of HUD programs. Janine’s experience is extensive, having managed multiple multifamily development from inception to stabilized operations, resulting in the creation of more than 3,000 units. Recent projects include several urban high-density vertical mixed-use developments in Austin, Texas.
Janine is a member of the Texas Affiliation of Affordable Housing Providers (TAAHP), having served as its President in 2020-2011. She also is a member of the Urban Land Institute and serves on the Public Private Partnership Council at the regional level.
A Pennsylvania native, she graduated cum laude from Tufts University (MA) with a BA in Economics and received her law degree from Fordham University School of Law (NY) where she was Notes and Articles Editor for the Fordham Law Review. Janine is a member of the Texas Bar Association.
John Jee

John Jee
John Jee joined DMA in October 2019 after starting a food truck business in 2018. Prior to that adventure, he had a successful 10-year career with an Austin-based multi-family housing company. At DMA, John serves primarily as Asset Manager for all of DMA portfolio, while supporting accounting and development. John also works closely with an outside audit firm as well as numerous tax credit investors doing business with DMA companies.
John received his BS in Business, with focus on Finance, Real Estate and Law from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona and earned his Texas CPA designation in 2012.

Marnie Geurin
Marnie Geurin joined DMA in November 2009 working as a Property Manager for Sunchase Square. After successfully developing her team as a Property Manager and later as a Regional Manager, she was promoted to Director of Operations in 2016. In this role, she oversaw the operations of DMA Properties, LLC and DMA Property Advisors, LLC. This included monthly and quarterly financial reporting, budget control, resident and employee relations, audit and inspection support, lease up of new properties and property management software set up, implementation and training. In 2022, she transitioned into the role of Director of Compliance and Investor Relations. In this role, she oversees the review and approval of all resident compliance files and trains onsite staff on all aspects of compliance. Her responsibilities also include all compliance correspondence and reporting for the State Agencies, Investors and Lenders for all DMA properties. She is responsible for ensuring DMA Properties LLC is complying with LIHTC requirements and the requirements of investors and lenders for all properties.
Marnie is a graduate of North Carolina Wesleyan College with a BS in Business Management and has more than 25 years of experience in the multifamily industry. Marnie is a Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP), Certified Tax Credit Specialist (TCS) Blended Occupancy Specialist (BOS ), and Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS).

Blake Mauldin
Blake Mauldin has banked over 2 decades of industry experience while navigating the dynamic New York City real estate market and continued in Central Texas after relocating to Austin, TX, where he joined DMA in June 2016 as an Assistant Property Manager. His leadership and dedication quickly earned him a promotion to Property Manager, overseeing two Austin communities for several years.
In 2019, Blake took on the role of Director of Marketing & Communications, where he played a key role in supporting new developments, managing lease-ups, and driving high occupancy across the DMA portfolio. While the trajectory of his DMA journey may pivot as needed, his strategic efforts continue to elevate DMA’s starring role on the affordable housing stage.
Currently, you will primarily find Blake contributing to the DMA mission by overseeing the RBJ Residences campus in Downtown Austin as Regional Manager. Adjacent to RBJ duties, he also continues to maintain his voice in leadership by participating in day-to-day operational planning across the organization. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Media and Performing Arts from the Savannah College of Art and Design, class of 2003.

Tracy Falknor serves as Director of Human Resources for DMA Companies and its affiliates. Tracy began her HR career in 2007 and has consistently worked to expand her Human Resources knowledge by serving as a member of various professional networking groups and organizations, as well as achieving her SHRM-CP designation. Tracy is well versed in HR compliance, employee engagement and retention, comp and bonus structures, organizational structure, employee training and development, recruiting/sourcing and selection strategies, etc. Tracy lists her strengths as her passion for Human Resources, streamlining and simplifying processes, her drive for improving the employee experience, and overall customer service she provides to internal and external customers. Tara Bellamy
As Director of Training and Property Operations at DMA, Tara brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success to her role. Joining the company in 2015 as a property manager in Hinesville, GA. She relocated to Houston, TX in 2017 to oversee a new construction lease-up and was subsequently promoted to District Manager, where she assumed responsibility for overseeing properties in Southeast Texas and Georgia.
With over 16 years of experience in property management, Tara’s expertise spans a diverse portfolio of properties as Regional and District Managers, demonstrating her ability to navigate complex challenges and deliver results.

Liz joined DMA Properties as a property manager in 2013 after relocating from Auburn, Alabama. She began her career in Property Management in student housing and after almost 20 years has experience in student, senior, market, commercial and affordable housing.
Liz was promoted to District Manager in 2016 and oversaw properties throughout the South Texas portfolio for DMA. In 2022, Liz was promoted to Regional Manager with oversight for a portfolio of properties in the Austin area. Liz obtained a bachelor's degree in marketing from Auburn University in 2013.

Kathy Jones is a native of Dallas, Texas, now residing in Austin, Texas
Kathy joined DMA in 2009 as a Property Manager for Grove Park Terrace. In 2010, she was promoted to District Manager, where she oversaw three properties and managed REAC inspections for all DMA Properties until 2016.

Gracie Chavez joined DMA in September 2024 during a software change which allowed her to quickly show case expertise and grit to move up the accounting ranks and settle on an Accounting Management position. She has enjoyed building relationships and collaborating with property management and regional management to ensure tenant ledger accuracy and proper recognition of income and expenses every month. In her previous management role at a public accounting firm, she focused on positioning her team appropriately to provide timely financial statement audits and tax returns for clients invested in affordable housing projects, which provided her with the tools necessary for a smooth transition into DMA.
