Janine Sisak
Janine has twenty-five years of experience in the development, ownership and management of affordable housing. Janine originates, structures, and executes projects funded through the Housing Tax Credit program, as well as a variety of HUD programs. Janine’s experience is extensive, having managed multiple multifamily development from inception to stabilized operations, resulting in the creation of more than 3,000 units. Recent projects include several urban high-density vertical mixed-use developments in Austin, Texas.
Janine is a member of the Texas Affiliation of Affordable Housing Providers (TAAHP), having served as its President in 2020-2011. She also is a member of the Urban Land Institute and serves on the Public Private Partnership Council at the regional level.
A Pennsylvania native, she graduated cum laude from Tufts University (MA) with a BA in Economics and received her law degree from Fordham University School of Law (NY) where she was Notes and Articles Editor for the Fordham Law Review. Janine is a member of the Texas Bar Association.
