Two DMA Properties residents will be closer to their future goals, thanks to a scholarship from Texas Affiliation of Affordable Housing Providers.
Catherine Turner of Mabank Texas , and Analyssa Gonzales of Mathis Texas, were both awarded a $2500 scholarship through TAAHP, which was mostly funded by the Mike Lankford Annual Golf Tournament. This scholarship is open to residents in affordable housing and was awarded to 4 recipients this year.
Catherine will be attending Southwestern Assemblies of God University, where she has been accepted and will be playing soccer. Analyssa will attend Texas A&M in Kingsville to pursue a degree in Biomedical Science. Both were also selected this year to receive scholarships from the Camile Pahwa Scholarship fund.
