women ready to serve

On July 1st, 2022, DMA Properties staff members and residents of the recently constructed community, The Ladybird, celebrated our nation’s independence with a cookout and live music. While hamburgers, hotdogs and all the fixings were plated and served, attendees enjoyed dancing and singing along with Ronnie Burgeron, a long-time friend of the community and member of the band The Fossils. His piano and accordion-playing talents proved to be a huge hit!

Development of The Ladybird is the first phase of the larger project that will, ultimately, provide 500+ affordable apartments to active residents that are 55 years of age or better. The second phase, The Rebekah, will consist of rehabbing the Rebekah Baines Johnson Center tower that currently sits to the East of I-35 in Downtown Austin.
