At its regular Board Meeting on July 28th, the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (TDHCA) awarded $930,000 in Housing Tax Credits to DMA Development Company to build a 94-unit age 55+ community in Kyle, Texas. The Overlook at Plum Creek will sit on 5 acres adjacent to the Plum Creek Golf Course and will be built within the Plum Creek Master Planned Community. The Overlook will feature a three-story elevator building with golf course views, which will include 58 units and community amenities. Additionally, there will be thirty-six cottage units, many with attached carports.

DMA closed on the 5-acre parcel in November and construction is expected to being in March 2012. Architectural services are being provided by Kelly Grossman Architects of Austin. Dallas-based Carleton Construction is providing construction.
