DMA is pleased to announce the creation and endowment of the Camile Pahwa Scholarship Fund, created in memory of our beloved colleague who passed away on April 18, 2010, at the age of 34, after a two-year battle with lymphoma.  Camile joined DMA in September 2001, following her graduation from the University of Texas with a Master’s Degree in Community and Regional Planning.  She served as Project Manager for many of our affordable housing developments and was promoted to Vice President in 2005, the youngest in DMA history.  She was respected throughout our industry for her knowledge of the Housing Tax Credit program and revered for her winning smile and “can do” attitude.

These scholarships will be available to residents of DMA’s apartment communities age 12 – 18.
